FREEDIVER
The PADI Freediver Course is your ticket to adventure.
In this course you build the foundation of your new life as a freediver by creating a complete skillset. You learn freediving principles, breathing and relaxation techniques as well as how to adapt to pressure at depth. You will practice breath-hold techniques in a pool or confined water site as well as in an open water environment.
Included in the course are learning materials, equipment, diving insurance, 2 days of training and (after completing all requirements) the PADI Freediver certification. It has a cost of 300€.
Requirements
To enroll in a PADI Freediver course the minimum age is 12 years (minors need a signed guardian permission). You need adequate swimming skills (swim 200 meters) and good physical health (completed medical questionnaire). No prior experience with snorkeling, skin diving or freediving is required.

Structure
The PADI Freediver course consists of three main phases:

Knowledge development about freediving principles through independent study with PADI Freediver eLearning.

Confined water session to learn breath-hold techniques as well as static and dynamic apnea. Goal - static apnea of 90 seconds and dynamic apnea of 25 meters.

Open water sessions to practice free immersion and constant weight freedives, plus proper buddy procedures. Goal - constant weight freedive of 10 meters.
